Members of the Committee are generally happy to share their knowledge and skills with less experienced members and guests. However, please be aware that committee members are not necessarily experienced and are unlikely to possess any formal mountaineering qualifications. Ultimately you must take responsibility for your own decisions. The Moray Mountaineering Club supports the UIAA participation statement, which states, “Climbing and mountaineering are activities with a danger of personal injury or death. Participants in these activities should be aware of and accept these risks and be responsible for their own actions and involvement”
